Teeconomist Review | Summary:

For the most part, Teeconomist came out of the gate swinging, so to speak. Launching in 2014, they offer daily t-shirt sales and the ability for users to vote on which submitted designs get printed. They also have a "Previous Designs" area where you can view old designs that have been sold on the site. Though Teeconomist has most of the essential ingredients for a prosperous daily t-shirt sale site, the layout itself could use some polishing.

As for the site name, "Teeconomist," I imagine it relates at least in part to their "Opportunitee" feature, a period of time (usually on weekends) where they feature two shirts that rise and fall in price based on demand. I haven't seen the feature in action, but gimmicks like that are a tough sell unless the price actually drops significantly. And the fact that the price can actually rise to $20 instead of drop towards $0 is a bit of a turn off as well. A lot of daily t-shirt sale sites have tried to implement similar features in order to stand out, but unless you can pull it off as the main feature of your site and actually drop your prices substantially, it will likely pick up little momentum as a random side feature. However, I am curious to see it in action.
