Tax Day is quickly approaching (April 15, 2010 for you procrastinators) and there is no denying that it is a stressful time of year. Unfortunately, I happen to be one of those people that eat more when I’m stressed. Luckily, M&Ms have proven to be the perfect stress snack since they are easy to pop while you work. Chocolate can relax basically anyone, not just myself. I am posting this green M&M t-shirt as a tribute to this amazing stress reliever and the only female M&M character out there.
M&M’s are a candy with a variety of fillings, including chocolate, peanut butter, peanuts or almonds encased by a crunchy candy shell. In 1941, The Mars Company debuted the milk chocolate treat in five colors that included violet, brown, yellow, red and green. Throughout the years, the colors and flavors have changed, leading us to the current blue, red, orange, green, yellow and brown ones that we eat today. However, consumers are now able to purchase a number of other colors online in addition to being able to print personalized sayings on them. Fans can also get their hands on M and M tees like the ones that are featured here. In case you’re wondering, “What does M&M stand for?” The M and M come from the first letter of the last names of the two men who founded the Mars Candy Company, Forrest Mars, Sr. and Bruce Murrie.
Eat up this M&M green t-shirt before they run out…just like the real thing. Not to worry, this tee is available in other colors as well. Regardless of which color you pick, it is bound to satiate anyone.Tags: candy, chocolate, green M&M, M&M, M&M's
