While moving to a new neighborhood with her parents, the family gets lost and 10-year-old Chihiro Ogino ends up at an abandoned theme park where she and her parents become trapped in an alternate reality inhabited by monsters and spirits.  This Spirited Away movie shirt features some of the characters that she meets in this fantasy world, including her friend Haku the dragon.  The 2001 movie became Japan’s highest grossing film of all-time, earning over $274 million worldwide and surpassing Titanic domestically.  At the 75th Academy Awards, it won the Academy Award for Best Animated Feature.  The Spirited Away t-shirt featured here is a homage to the frighteningly enchanting adventure story that was released in the US by Walt Disney Pictures with the supervision of Pixar director John Lasseter (Toy Story).
