Today, I stumbled upon this Big Lebowski Monsters Inc. t-shirt that crosses over the two main characters from each movie.  Sure, it may be a little strange, an animated kids’ movie crossed with a movie involving a slacker, a nymphomaniac and a group of German nihilists.  However, taking a closer look reveals certain similarities.  There’s the obvious, Walter Sobchak is a big man who is best friends with the somewhat smaller Jeffery “The Dude” Lebowski, just like how the monster Sulley is best friends with the much smaller Mike Wazowski in Monsters, Inc.  Then there’s the fact that John Goodman not only portrays Walter Sobchak in The Big Lebowski, but he is also the voice of Sulley in Monsters, Inc.  The Big Lebowski is also centered around bowling and mistaken identity, while Mike Wazowski could be mistaken for a bowling ball.  Okay, now maybe I’m stretching things a bit.  Make your own connections in The Big Wazowski shirt shown here that’s a worthy tribute to two critically acclaimed films.
