For most of the people who have yet to watch the FX series Wilfred, they simply know it as “that show with Elijah Wood and that guy in the dog suit.”  Sure, that’s a reasonable description, but it could also be deemed “Harvey on crack.”  Of course here we have a dog instead of a large bunny, and Elijah Wood’s Ryan Newman character is far more self-deprecating than Jimmy Stewart’s Elwood P. Dowd.  This Wilfred t-shirt is for fans of the series, which is based on the Australian series of the same name.  The story follows Ryan, a man who is on the verge of suicide until he meets his neighbor Jenna’s (Fiona Gubelmann) dog, who convinces him to take control of his own life.  The oddity (and yes, there are more than just the obvious one) is that Ryan sees the dog as an Australian man (Jason Gann) in a dog suit, when almost everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog.  The FX TV series also stars Ethan Suplee as the obnoxious neighbor and Chris Klein as Jenna’s detestable boyfriend Drew.  If you find that a dog is the only one who truly understands you as well, this Wilfred TV Show t-shirt is a great way to express that sentiment, while also conveying that you’re a fan of the twisted FX comedy.
